i have nooooo idea how this came around, but some how i jsut ended up on an Obama campaign swag site. it made me remember going to the smithsonian as a kid and seeing all the Eisenhower stuff from his election. I always though it was interesting, don’t know why. Especially as an elementary schooler.

so my friend posted a link of this site on facebook tonight and i checked it out b/c the adress didn’t seem to make any grammatical sense, not that any do. apparently, hillary clinton is every pop culture reference from the past year or so and every qualm anyone has ever had about a spouce or roommate. caution: rant.

So recently i was the recipient of a very special little gift, a $500 gift certificate from Kaboodle.com for pinkmascara.com. what a blessing right!? to say the least…

first thing that went though my head was oooooooh! i’m gonna get so much good shit! that was… until i looked at the site and realized the majority of items sold there were over $200. So after almost a month of trying to figure out the best way to spend this money, i finally placed my order. I got a Kenneth Jay Lane Gold/Black Monkey Bracelet, a Kenneth Jay Lane Black Enamel Geo Bracelet, a pair of Citizens of Humanity Catalina Hutton High Rise in Stanyan, and the Harlow Marylinn Tee in Scarlet.

I spent all but $1.90 of the $500.00 given to me. I think i did pretty well, eh?:) The only agrivation i came across sprouted from 1) trying to figure out what to buy, 2) the fact that NONE of the items on their site have measurements, 3) their customer service “Live Chat” is always offline and even when you send them an email they don’t respond, and 4) all their web pages advertise free grond shipping for items over $150.00 yet i got charged $5.95. Now i understand that i’m complaining about paying $5.95 for almost $500.00 of free clothing and accessories, but still. The point here lies in the fact that they advertise free shipping and should deliver free shipping, pun intended. I can’t even IMAGINE how difficult things will get if i have to return any of these items…. ughhh! Let’s just hope they all are perfect.
